Despite having relatively straight hair I still love to use hair straighteners. It’s a bit like ironing your clothes and I just find it often looks healthier that way. Though a good pair is essential. You want to make sure you’re not doing your locks any damage. It might mean investing a bit more, but you are getting a product that will hopefully last you for years and be used often.

Babyliss ProNano Titanium Prima3000

Having teamed up with Just My Look before Christmas I have had the opportunity to test out one of their products over the holidays. With a vast selection of brands represented on their site, you are spoiled for choice. I use a BaByliss hair dryer, which I’m very happy with so I was keen to see how their pro straighteners perform.

The first thing I noticed about the BaByliss ProNano Titanium Prima3000 (sounds like a Transformer character!) is that it’s quite heavy. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but will take some getting use to if you normally work with very light appliances.

I like the striking silver and black design. The 2.7 meter long swivel cord allows you plenty of room to move about if a plug is not near your mirror. I think is a great feature. It comes with a UK plug.

The heating can be adjusted from 150 to 210 degrees in five steps. It’s easy to turn on and off and heats up incredibly fast. I would recommend the glove so you don’t risk burning yourself on the side of the plates.

I’ve found that the looks last well. Whether you are straightening or creating curls. In the past I’ve seen how my hair would go frizzy or look dull after only a couple of hours. The BabyLiss ProNano’s ion boost technology seems to secure a glossy finish that lasts. This also means my hair looks nice for days and I don’t have to worry about washing it so often, which for a mum is a great help!
