
Despite what so many people may think, it’s okay to love yourself. We seem to have come up with this idea as a society that loving yourself is a negative thing. This is simply not true all and loving yourself first should be high on your list of priorities. You need to find your confidence and fall in love with yourself again, because you are the person who matters the most in your world. It’s wonderful if others love you but find the love for yourself first.

TREAT YOURSELF TO A SALON TRIP
You might look in the mirror and not like what you see. Maybe it’s your hair or your skin. You need a reset. The first thing you can do is to head to the salon! If you’re feeling like you’re in need of a change, or you’re simply in the mood for a good pampering, then the salon is the place to go. You can get your hair done, making you feel better and more like yourself again. Maybe can get your nails done or a facial to pick yourself up.
You can also get other treatments such as lashes, spray tans or waxes and so much more depending on what brings you joy. The point of this is to make you feel good in your own skin, so it’s worth taking the time out of your day to do it.
PICK OUT SOME NEW CLOTHES
The way you dress often directly reflects how you feel about yourself, making it obvious to others around you. If you are down you might reach for darker clothes or give no thought to your appearance. Dress for how you want to feel! What we mean by this is that if you’re constantly wearing washout shapeless items, then it’s clear that you’re trying to hide something about your body. If that’s what makes you happy then that’s fine, but if you wear clothes you don’t like simply because you’re not confident enough for something else, that isn’t.
You should get out there and get some new clothes that make you feel amazing, as well as look amazing.
DISCOVER A NEW HOBBY
We also want to note here that having a hobby can really help you feel more like yourself, improving your confidence tenfold. Whether your hobby is collecting coins, playing a game like wordle, or heading out for a run in the evenings, it doesn’t matter. As long as it brings you joy, that’s what counts!
GO MEET UP WITH FRIENDS
Finally, when you are struggling with confidence levels it can be hard to get out of the house. Your friends could be asking you out but you simply don’t want to go, however, try and go out with them. It will make you feel so much better about yourself and give you something else to focus on. Yes it will be extremely difficult, especially with low confidence or self esteem but it will be totally worth it in the end.
