If you read my post from last week you’ll know that this week has been a hard one emotionally with the loss of a close friend. I’m still coming to terms with what has happened and will write a full tribute to what was a kind and generous soul.
Both Caspian and I have been on antibiotics, though I feel we are picking up. It’s only now I realise just how tired I’ve felt over the past month due to my chest infection. It just shows how you should go to your GP if you don’t feel well. Though the antibiotics did make me feel a little spaced out, especially in the evenings. One night I went into fits of giggles over a cat video on Facebook, to the point where Daddy Long Legs thought I’d lost the plot.
On a more positive note, the weather has been absolutely beautiful, if very cold. It only this morning that it’s foggy and grey, though that holds a beauty of its own. Because of Caspian’s ear infection, I’ve limited time outside. He still loves nothing more than playing in the garden even when the ground is frozen. He had a chance to wear his new comfy clothes from Sense Organics both in Denmark and this week at home.
As it’s our birthday, Caspian and I share the same day, next month we’ve teamed up with Sense Organics to give away £50 to spend on their wonderful range of soft, organic and fair trade cotton pieces for age 0-6. You can find the giveaway here.
Even though I didn’t take many photos there we also went to Top Drawer this week, an international convention for everything design and home interior hosted at Olympia. I could have spend days there browsing all the gorgeous furniture and design pieces. I met with some great Scandinavian companies that I hope to feature on the blog during the coming year.

So here are the images I shared on Instagram this week. I hope your week’s been lovely. Did you take any photographs?
