In about a month’s time Scandimummy.com will have it’s first birthday. It’s become my second baby, so celebrations are definitely in order as so far I seem to be doing a reasonable job keeping both Caspian and the blog alive. I’ll be hosting some exciting competitions and giveaways in the lead up to the big day and I hope you’ll join in.

I’m over the moon to kick off with this fantastic competition that can see your kid looking cool this summer. It’s been a goal of mine to introduce Scandinavian design via the blog and open the door to some of my personal favourites. Danish company, Albababy, is without a doubt one of them.

Albababy is a children’s clothing brand that is well established on the Scandinavian fashion scene, but loved all over the world. And with good reason. The quality of the clothes is high. It’s got that luxurious feel to it and the fit is fantastic allowing for movement and play. The design oozes Scandinavian cool and with the inspiration taken from the founder’s own childhood growing up in the 70’s and 80’s, it also exhibits a flair of retro and innocence allowing kids to be kids. They have a gorgeous instagram account too, that’s definitely worth a follow if you are into beautiful design!
