Last week I was meant to attend the MAD Awards, the biggest gala event celebrating UK parent bloggers across the country. It was hosted at the beautiful Royal Garden Hotel in London and I was excited for a brilliant night in the company of friends enjoying delicious food and applauding the best in blogging. Unfortunately I was struck down by food poisoning and despite my best efforts to get dressed and brave the journey there, I had to admit defeat half way and return home to bed.
I was disappointed, I will not lie as I was so looking forward to a glamourous night out. I love getting dressed up and was excited to wear a gorgeous red Lipsy dress paired with snake skin shoes and the stunning Aryella Python bag from luxury brand Kerikit for whom I’m a brand ambassador. So instead of photos from the night I thought I’d do a little Autumn styling session to show of this great designer handbag, which also doubles as a changing bag if you are in the market for this.
I’ve put together three looks featuring the Aryella Python. One ideal for the office, a chic 70’s inspired look and a sexy snakeskin outfit perfect for an evening out.
Even though I mainly work from home I sometimes have meetings in London and need to look professional. I’ve kept it simple with bold block colours pairing a bright blue silk shirt from NEXT with suede heels in the same colour and black jeans. The bag is big enough to hold all your office necessities like laptop or tablet, phone, notepad and makeup bag.
My second choice is one of my favourite styles for Autumn. I adore a good hat and this black fedora I picked up in h&m a couple of years ago is still my first choice when the weather starts changing. Teamed with skinny black jeans, a fur vest for a bit of hippy chic as well as stylish black ankle boots and I’m really feeling this 70’s inspired look. Again I think the bag completes the outfit.
Like all of Kerikit’s luxury leather bags there are plenty of key features like a mirror attached as well as a compartment for wet clothes or an umbrella at the bottom. It also has a generous number of pockets and a gorgeous silk lining.
For this last look I’ve teamed my body con dress from French Connection with a sparkly necklace from Zara and the snakeskin sandals that I was going to wear last weekend, which matches the bag perfectly. As a Scandinavian I don’t tend to go bare legged past September, but with the hot month we’ve had I think I can get away with it a little longer. Looking to make up for my missed night out I’m hoping Daddy Long Legs and I can go for a nice dinner soon, so I can wear this outfit as I must admit I felt very sexy even if the neighbour’s cat completely ignored me!
Which look do you prefer? And what’s your Autumn fashion essentials?
That bag is beautiful and you are one hot Mama! So sorry to hear you were unwell and missed the MAD awards though – that must have been so disappointing! Hopefully you will get there next year! #fortheloveofBLOG X
So sorry to hear you missed the big one because of being ill. You look fab in these pictures! My favourite outfit is the first one – I think royal blue looks stunning on you!
Firstly, you look amazing in these pictures! The bag is gorgeous, definitely something that I wouldn’t mind in my collection. I love the black ankle boots too. I really need to get myself some nice boots.

Oh what a shame you weren’t able to attend the awards. I love the blue shirt – I like a nice pop of colour like that . #fortheloveofblog
