One of our favourite Scandi baby brands is Norwegian Stokke. From the iconic Trip Trap high chair to beautiful beds and, of course, those fantastic strollers, this established brand knows about design. On Wednesday Caspian and I attended an intimate event at the beautiful Ham Yard Hotel in central London. It is such a unique venue with inspirations taken from the film industry and make quirky details.

There we were introduced, or should I say re-introduced, to the Stokke Xplory Black. Now available with a matching all black chassis, it oozes cool. This all black design makes it the perfect accessory for any fan of minimalist and monochrome trends. The fashion editor of Marie Claire was also at the event talking about her love of the Stokke brand having recently returned from maternity leave, as well as how black will always be the darling of the fashionistas.

With pioneering seat adjustability, the iconic Stokke Xplory allows your baby to sit high up and thereby promote interaction and eye contact more easily, while you explore the world together. It also means you can adjust the height when at a cafe or restaurant to make your child feel they are seated comfortable at the table. When your baby is ready to face the world you simply switch to a forward position. I would have loved something like this for Caspian, also because the handle comes up really high which would have been perfect for Daddy Long Legs.
